About me
David Doukhan is a researcher working at the French National Institute of Audiovisual (INA) since 2016. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at LIMSI-CNRS and IRCAM, and a research assistant at MIT.
His work focuses on the analysis and synthesis of audio signals (speech, music, speaker, prosody, 3D sound), machine learning, digital humanities, corpus linguistics, and audiovisual collection management. Since 2020, he has been coordinating the transdisciplinary project Gender Equality Monitor (GEM), funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), which aims to automatically describe the gender representation differences in French-language media.
