About me
Rudolf Müller, historian, has been working since 2001 as project manager for the sound/radio sector at Memoriav, the association for the preservation of Switzerland's audiovisual cultural heritage. He is responsible for project procedures in the area of sound collections and radio archives and occasionally publishes on broadcasting history topics. He lectures at colleges and universities on the preservation of audio documents and is a long-standing member of IASA (German-Swiss Branch and international).
Before joining Memoriav, Ruedi Müller worked for Swiss Radio SRF. From 1993, he led a project there to preserve the oldest recordings on direct-cut discs, later from audio tapes and many other forms of audio-storage-media.
