About me
I worked as a video journalist at a Korean broadcaster for five years (2013-2017), a documentary PD and writer (2017-2022), and a film magazine reporter (2022-2023), producing documentaries and news based on footage. Along the way, I became as interested in creating a system that would allow broadcasters to preserve and accurately reuse the footage they already produced as I was in creating new content, so I went to graduate school. Participated in national and institutional research projects related to broadcast news footage management, metadata and media. I received my Master'ss degree from the Department of Information and Archival Science of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies with a thesis on the accurate use of historical footage. I am now in my PhD programme, continuing my research on the same topic.
