About me
As a historian and media researcher Theo Mäusli in the early 1990 was one of the first external users of Radio- and Television archives. In the early 2000 he became responsible of the archives of Swiss Italian Public Broadcaster RSI and had the lead in their transformation into a digital resource and even public offer. He actively participated at the integration of the whole archiving process into the production workflows and the new understatement of archivists as content- and data managers. Now his activities focus on archives strategies and its coordination for SRG SSR General Direction. Mäusli is FIAT/IFTA EC-member. In addition to these managerial activities, he has continued to maintain an academic side as a University lecturer and publicist, mainly on media history and digital archives.
