About me
Valentin Pelloin joined INA's research team at the end of 2023. His main research objectives are related to Natural Language Processing and Spoken Language Technologies, namely Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), speech and speaker recognition, and end-to-end information extraction from speech. He is currently working within the Pantagruel ANR project, with the main objective to build and assess large multilingual models for French.
Valentin holds a PhD in computer science from Le Mans University (France). The subject of his thesis is "Spoken language understanding in human-computer dialogue systems in the era of pretrained models", where he used pretrained language and speech models to achieve state of the arts results on spoken language understanding benchmarks.
